Yolanda Christophe

Yolanda Christophe serves as a postdoctoral research fellow. Her research explores the challenges people from disadvantaged circumstances face when starting a business, focusing on the major hurdles they encounter and the strategies they use to succeed. Dr. Christophe also studies how new businesses shape the broader economic environment and the associated public policy implications. Her current research explores the concept of hybrid entrepreneurship and its manifestation among those in poverty conditions.
She earned her Ph.D. from Morgan State University.
